Masterbatch is a kind of additives for plastic like a seasoning of food. It is added in the process of manufacturing of the raw materials(PE, EVA, PP, PET, PC, PVC etc) such extrusion or injection.

色母粒是指一种塑料（高分子材料）专用添加剂。载体树脂例如LDPE、EVA、PP、PET、PC、PVC等的工艺过程(挤压/注射)当中加上去后主要用于着色或者特殊功能的功效。
色母粒由颜料和载体浓缩物组成、所以它的着色力高于颜料本身。
其适用范围已超越了简单的辅助材料还被认为可塑料最终产品性能决定因素中关键因素之一，而色母粒的活用与功能也日益发达。
